The team
instanavigation.app is a small project. An independent team builds and runs it, with no parent company. The site has no link to Instagram or Meta. Neither company reviews these pages. Our email is support@instanavigation.app.
Why the tool exists
Many people want to see an open profile but do not want to open Instagram. Some want to watch a story with no account of their own. Some check a seller before they pay. Some need one video from a public reel as a file.
InstaNavigation covers these needs. Enter a username. A profile card appears, with four tabs under it. Stories, Highlights, Posts and Reels each get a tab. On the card, the follower numbers open the two lists of people. Each photo and video has a download arrow on it, and one click gives one file.
Five hard limits
InstaNavigation will never:
- Break into private profiles. Only followers that the owner approved see them, and we respect that.
- Ask you to log in. Not with Instagram, not with anything.
- Keep a record of searches, yours or anyone else’s.
- Keep copies of photos or videos on our servers.
- Restore stories older than 24 hours, or posts the owner removed.
What happens after you press View
The browser sends the username to our server, and from there we call a data provider that we pay. The provider opens that profile on Instagram and returns what it finds. Then the tabs fill up. Photos arrive directly from the media servers of Instagram, and clips are proxied by us. You can read about each party on the privacy page.
