We hold no copies
We hold no Instagram files. A search pulls the profile live and the page draws it. We keep none of the photos or videos. We also have no block list for a username or for a single post. So we cannot hide one account on request.
The fast way: change it on Instagram
Our pages follow Instagram. A change there shows up here in one hour or less.
- Account owners: remove the story or post, delete the account, or switch it to private. When it stops being public, it disappears from InstaNavigation within the hour.
- Holders of the copyright: use the report option inside Instagram, or the copyright form that Instagram provides.
A DMCA notice to us
Every notice gets our answer within 48 hours. Write to support@instanavigation.app. Put the word DMCA in the subject. The notice needs five parts:
- which work you believe was copied;
- the exact URL where you saw it;
- how we can reach you;
- a line saying that, in good faith, you think the use is not allowed;
- a sworn line (under penalty of perjury) saying your notice is true and you hold the rights or may act for the holder.
Anything missing? We write back and ask. We do not reject a notice for a gap.
Our own material
The words, graphics and layout of instanavigation.app belong to us. When a valid notice targets them, we fix or take down that material and tell you by email. A notice about Instagram content gets an answer with the two options above. If you believe we removed something by error, send us a counter-notice. Add your name, contact data and reasons. We forward it to the first sender.
